Accept Online Payments on Ressio Invoices

🧾 Learn how to enable online payments on invoices and choose which payment methods your customers can use.

Before you begin

Make sure your Ressio Payments account has been approved and your status shows Activated.

 

Choose which payment methods to accept

In your Company settings >> Payment page, you can choose to accept:

  • ACH only
  • Credit cards only
  • Both ACH and credit cards

You can also turn online payments on or off at any time.

Online payments

 

Enable payments on an invoice

  1. Open the invoice
  2. Find the Payment section
  3. Turn on Accept payment through Ressio
  4. Save the invoice

 

When you can enable payments

You can enable the payment option before or after releasing the invoice, as long as the invoice has not already been paid.

 

Before you send the invoice

Review these items before releasing the invoice to the customer:

  • Invoice amount
  • Whether ACH, credit card, or both are enabled
  • Whether online payments are turned on for that invoice

✅ When you're ready, release the invoice so the customer can view and pay it online.

 

What happens next

After the invoice is released, the customer can open the invoice and pay using the payment methods you enabled.
