Understanding this mapping helps ensure your bills are accurate, consistent, and ready for reporting. #### Information Field Mapping | **Ressio Field** | **QuickBooks Online Field** | | --- | --- | | Bill Title | Bill No. | | Vendor Name | Vendor | | Description | Memo | | Item Description (under Cost Line) | Cost Line Description | #### Financial Field Mapping | **Ressio Field** | **QuickBooks Online Field** | | --- | --- | | Cost Code | Product/Service | | Quantity | Qty | | Cost Line Total | Amount | | Total | Total | #### Example:  Bill Created in Ressio ![image](https://43531900.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43531900/hubfs/image.png?width=670&height=507&name=image.png) 🚨 You can now upload and attach files to a bill and **push & pull them to QBO**. See below where the attachment will show up in QBO. In Ressio, attach the file where you can find the 📎 at the bottom of your bill.  Bill Synced in QuickBooks Online ![image (2)](https://43531900.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43531900/hubfs/image%20(2).png?width=670&height=329&name=image%20(2).png) File attachment ![Screenshot 2026-02-12 at 2.40.49 PM-1](https://43531900.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43531900/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-02-12%20at%202.40.49%20PM-1.png?width=431&height=201&name=Screenshot%202026-02-12%20at%202.40.49%20PM-1.png) If you are pulling bills from QBO into Ressio and want the **Description** (#4 in the image above) to show in Ressio, it can be viewed under -\>**Budge Page** -\> **Applied Actuals** column only.  --- #### 💡Best Practices  🏷️ **Make sure vendor names match exactly** between Ressio and QuickBooks to avoid duplicates. 🔢 **Always include a Bill Title or Reference No.** so QuickBooks can identify duplicates. 📊 **Confirm that each [Cost Code](https://help.ressiosoftware.com/adding-cost-codes-to-ressio?hsLang=en) in Ressio is mapped** to the correct Product/Service in QuickBooks. 📎 **Add attachments in Ressio** — they will sync over to QuickBooks for recordkeeping. ⚠️ **Callout: Avoid Sync Errors** Double-check your **Vendor names** and **Product/Service mapping** before pushing bills to QuickBooks.
