Validating & Approving bills --- #### The Bills list Ressio's Bills list features efficient navigation options for creating, syncing, filtering, and viewing bills at-a-glance and in full detail. From the Bills list, you can: - select **+ New Bill** to upload or manually create bills - select **Sync bills** to sync bills with Quickbooks Online - search for bills by name or number - view your bills and information at a glance - select a Bill to view it in detail - filter by status - All, Needs Review, Draft, Ready for Approval, Approved, or Partially Paid ![ressio-bill-filters-pointer](https://43531900.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43531900/hubfs/ressio-bill-filters-pointer.gif?width=670&height=370&name=ressio-bill-filters-pointer.gif) --- #### Creating new Bills To manually create a new Bill, select **+ New bills**, then select **Draft bill without invoice** to enter the bill details by hand. ![ressio-draft-bill](https://43531900.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43531900/hubfs/ressio-draft-bill.gif?width=670&height=370&name=ressio-draft-bill.gif) --- #### Uploading Bills and Bulk Bill Uploads To upload a bill or multiple bills, select **+ New bills**, then select **Select bills to upload**. From the New bills page, drop your files into the tool, browse from your desktop or mobile device, or import photos from cloud storage. 💡Use the **Visibility** controls to choose if the bills are visible to customers or internal-only. ![ressio-upload-sources](https://43531900.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43531900/hubfs/ressio-upload-sources.gif?width=670&height=370&name=ressio-upload-sources.gif) 💡Ressio's bill import tool will allow you to import multiple bills at once. ‼️When importing multiple bills, upload each individual bill as a separate file. --- #### Reviewing, validating, and marking uploaded bills After extraction, Ressio marks the new bills with the **Needs Review** status. Select the new bill and review the PDF preview, confirm the vendor details, and extracted line items to ensure accuracy. Select **Save** once you've validated the information. 💡Once you **Save** a bill, you can mark it as **Ready for Approval** on the same screen, reducing approval time and simplifying your workflow.
