Deleting Cost Items from the Estimate

The need to delete one or multiple cost items is going to happen! Whether you are just getting started, or dialing in an estimate for approval, deleting cost items can be done by right-clicking and selecting delete.

Select the cost item(s) that you wish to delete by selecting the multi-select box to the left of the cost item name.

Right click in the data table and select "Delete".

Carefully read the delete confirmation pop up and select Delete if you are certain you want to proceed with deleting the cost items from the estimate.

CAUTION: Deleting cost items from an estimate is a permanent action and cannot be "undone"

If you delete a cost item by accident, you will need to add the cost item from scratch. If you need help adding cost items, instructions can be found in the "Adding & Editing Cost Items" knowledge base document.
