How Do I Apply a Bank Feed Transaction to a Customer and Product in QuickBooks Online?
Save a step by assigning customer and product details directly from your bank feed in QuickBooks online.
When reconciling transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can assign each expense or deposit to both a Vendor/Customer/project and a product or service—right from your bank feed.
This saves you from having to open and edit the transaction later and ensures your Ressio projects stay accurately linked to their financial data in QuickBooks.

Why This Matters for Ressio Users
If you’re using Ressio’s QuickBooks integration, applying both a customer and product/service at the bank feed level ensures that transactions sync correctly back into Ressio.
-
Your customer links the expense to the right project.
-
Your product/service links it to the correct cost code or category.
Doing this early keeps your budget tracking and job costing in sync automatically.
Navigating the Bank Feed
Begin by accessing your bank feed in QuickBooks. The bank feed will be seen under 'Bank transactions' on the left hand side.
