# Prospect management overview

Effortlessly track essential lead details through the Ressio "prospect management" feature. The prospects list conveniently summarizes all your project opportunities alongside your other jobs.

 

#### Adding a new prospect

A new prospect can be added to Ressio the same way you would add a new project.

1. Navigate to the ***All projects*** page and click ***New project***
2. Enter the desired project information, scroll down, and opening up the***Prospects*** information group
3. Input any relevant prospect details in the available fields
4. Click ***Submit*** to save

#### Viewing, sorting, and filtering your prospect list

Your list of prospects can be viewed, sorted, and filtered at any point in time by navigating to your ***All projects*** page, and selecting the ***Prospects*** tab.

To sort your prospect list by a desired data field, simply **click the desired data column** in the header row. To  filter your prospect list by a desired data field

1. click the ***"hamburger" menu icon*** in the desired data column header
2. click the ***"filter" icon***
3. use the check boxes select the appropriate data fields you want filtered

#### Editing prospect information

As a prospect evolves, you will need to make edits to relevant data fields. the prospect information can be found by

1. Click into the prospects project from the ***Prospect*** tab in the ***All projects*** page
2. Navigate to the ***Project details*** page and select the ***Prospects*** tab
3. Edit any desired information
