Viewing & Approving a Change Order [A Homeowner's View]

Change orders are commonly used construction when there is a modification in the initially agreed-upon scope between a Homeowner/Client and a Builder/Contractor. A change order document serves as an amendment to the original contract, addressing additional work, substitutions, adjustments, or any other variations to the initial agreement.

1. Accessing the Change Order via Email

As a Homeowner, you will receive an email from your builder stating there is a a new change order item to approve. Click the "Review change order" button in your email to access the change order directly in the Ressio app.

2. Accessing the change order via the Ressio App

With the Ressio app open, a pending change order will show in the approvals list. To interact with & make a decision on the change order, select the change order document by clicking on it.

3. Approving the Change Order

The change order can now be accepted or declined by clicking the appropriate option at the bottom of the screen.
