You've learned a lot about the differences sub items and cost details and now your ready to make changes in your own estimate. Well, you're in the right spot, so lets jump in!
To get started, jump into your project estimate by clicking on the Estimate page in your menu structure. Next, clink on the 3 vertical dots next to the cost item name.
This will open an options menu where you can select Manage cost details. You will have 3 options to continue:
1) Make selection available on the 2nd level - This will convert a group of sub items into cost details
2) Make selection available on the 3rd level - This will convert a group of cost details into sub items
3) Make selection available for all 2nd level items on this estimate - This will convert all sub items on an estimate into cost details

Note: The third level cost type (sub item or cost detail) cannot be changed once the estimate is locked.
