The Ressio invoicing functionality simplifies the invoicing process, allowing you to create professional invoices in minutes. Easily leverage project financial data already within Ressio to generate invoices from
- actual bills and/or expenses
- based on progress
- or a manual amount
Creating an invoice
To get started creating an invoice, navigate to your Budget page, click New invoice, and select the desired invoicing option.

Invoicing from project actuals
For cost-plus or open book projects, you can invoice from the actual costs that are already in your budget. When ready to create a new invoice, you’re just a couple clicks away from grabbing your current costs and bringing them into an itemized invoice.
Invoicing on project progress
For fixed price projects, you can progress invoice a percentage of your estimate/budget. You can simply enter a percentage complete for each cost item and Ressio will calculate the correct invoice amount.
Sending invoices to clients
Easily send your invoices to clients via Ressio with a single click. Clients receive a comprehensive invoice to keep them informed on payments owed. To release an invoice, click the Release button from the created invoice document.
