The Specifications page is an interactive page where you can view & edit both the specifications and selection items of a project. This page is a valuable resource because

It acts as an easy reference for your team, clients, and trade partners throughout the lifecycle of the project

It’s a great page to have conversations with clients and/or trade partners about any cost item in the project
Exploring some of the functionality in the Specifications page
Within the Specifications page, both specifications and selections items support file attachments & messaging capabilities allowing you to keep your files and conversations organized and "threaded" around the cost item they're associated with.
Files can be uploaded from your computer or mobile device (if accessing the Specifications page on your mobile device) -or- they can be attached as a link. In addition, file attachments support the ability to be shown Publicly or Privately.
- Private: Visible by your team
- Public: Visible by the client AND your team
To upload a file or link with the correct visibility, be sure to upload it into the correct tab of the folder drawer.
The Specifications page can also be filtered by cost item type (specification item or selection item).
Tip: Having the Client filter their specification view to only look at selection items is a great way to give them visibility into the items that will require their decisions! You can even filter down on selection status (Draft, Released, Completed).
Selection items can also be created and managed directly from the specifications page. You can create new choice groups, choices, even approve selection items.
