Partial Estimate Template Import

If you only need specific portions of a template, Ressio allows you to selectively import categories or cost items. You start from scratch or add to existing estimates, only if the estimate is UNLOCKED

This is useful when building customized estimates or combining elements from multiple templates.

Selecting and Importing Template Portions

Navigate to your project and go to the 'Estimate' tab. You will follow the same steps as above. Choose a source template (e.g., NAHB estimate template) from the drop down menu and hit 'Next'.

Click the boxes to include each item/category to the import. You can decide to:

  • Import the entire template

  • Import a whole category, or multiple categories

  • Expand categories to select individual items.

When you are ready, hit 'Copy Selected' to finalize the import.

After importing, the selected categories and items will appear in your project estimate.

❗You also have the ability to import selections with choices attached.
