Ressio supports the ability sync the invoices you create within the Ressio system and your QuickBooks Online account.
Before getting started
Before you can get started with the invoice sync, please read the following and ensure:
- Connect your Ressio account & cost codes by following these instructions: Connecting your QuickBooks Online account to Ressio
- Connect your Ressio project to the appropriate QuickBooks Online customer or project by following these instructions: Connecting a Ressio project to a QuickBooks Online customer or project
🚨 When configuring Ressio to push invoices to QBO, please ensure the Default invoice code and Profit code are selected. If not, your invoice will not sync to QBO.
Setting up your Ressio project to push invoices to QBO
When ready, lets get your Ressio project set up. We will be configuring data in the Financials tab of the Project Details page. Check out the video below to follow some step by step instructions.
Creating the invoice in Ressio
Once setup is complete & you have budget actuals in the system (check out how to pull in budget actuals here) you can start creating your invoice. Check out the video below to learn more on how to do this and how the invoice interacts with QBO.
Receiving invoice status back from QBO
Once the invoice is sent from QBO, the payment waiting game begins. When payment is received against the invoice, the invoice payment status in QBO will update and will be synced back over to the Ressio platform. Check out the video below to learn more.
